Shower trays should be cleaned regularly, preferably after each use, so as to prevent the build-up of hard-to-remove dirt. For daily maintenance of surfaces, use a soft cloth (for example, a microfibre cloth) and a solution of water with a mild cleaning agent with a natural composition. After cleaning the shower tray, rinse it thoroughly with clean water and wipe it dry. It is not recommended to use rough or abrasive materials and corrosive or bleaching substances to prevent damaging the surface of the product.
For more stubborn dirt, use a 10% citric acid solution with water. Apply the solution to the product for 2 to 3 minutes. After that time, rinse the product thoroughly with clean water and wipe it dry. If necessary, the process can be repeated. Residues from hair dye, lipstick or other products with a dyeing effect should be removed from the surface immediately to prevent the formation of permanent marks.
The external parts of a linear shower drain, namely the cover and drain frame, should be cleaned regularly using a soft cloth (for example, a microfibre cloth) and a solution of water with a mild cleaning agent with a natural composition. Then rinse all the elements thoroughly with clean water and wipe them dry. Avoid using rough materials or abrasive or corrosive substances to prevent damaging the surface. Drains, wastes and traps should be cleaned regularly, and their connections checked for leaks. Accumulated dirt may restrict water flow, cause unpleasant odours or lead to leaks. The basket in a linear shower drain trap should also be cleaned periodically – remove the cover, pull out the basket, remove any accumulated dirt and wash it with warm water.
Drain cleaners should be used with caution and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. After use, rinse the product and drain thoroughly with plenty of clean water.
