Terms and documents
Quality warranty
VALID FROM 1 OCTOBER 2026
At OMNIRES, we believe that thoughtfully designed surroundings can enhance the quality of everyday life. That is why we create products that combine form and function with durability and the responsible use of resources.
Quality is the foundation of OMNIRES. We take responsibility for it at every stage – from concept and material selection, through technological solutions and manufacturing, to the final inspection of the finished product. Its functionality, durability and resilience are confirmed through our own in-house testing as well as tests carried out by independent laboratories.
Our responsibility continues after purchase. We provide technical support, access to spare parts and the option of replacing individual components, so that OMNIRES products can serve you reliably for many years.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Please read these Warranty Terms and Conditions carefully and use the Product for its intended purpose, in accordance with the rules for correct operation set out in the Installation and Maintenance Instructions supplied with the Product. Knowing and following the rules laid down in the Warranty Terms and Conditions and the Installation and Maintenance Instructions is essential for the Product's reliable, long-lasting performance.
General information
The warranty for OMNIRES products in the country in which they were sold is granted by the authorised distributor, hereinafter referred to as the Guarantor. A list of authorised distributors is available at https://omnires.com/en/retailers.
Declaration of Warranty
The Manufacturer (hereinafter: OMNIRES) confirms that the Products conform to their labelling and intended use, provided that their installation and use, including regular maintenance and care of the Product, comply with the rules and requirements set out in the Installation and Maintenance Instructions (hereinafter: Instructions), supplied to the Consumer together with the Product and available on the OMNIRES website, www.omnires.com. Liability under the warranty covers only defects in materials or workmanship arising from causes inherent in the Product at the time of its delivery to the Consumer and which become apparent during the warranty period.
The Consumer is obliged to check that the Product is complete and free from damage and visible defects upon receipt, before installation. If the Product has been installed despite visible defects having been found, and the defect could have been detected before installation, the Guarantor shall not bear the costs of removing and reinstalling the Product. This provision does not exclude or limit the Consumer's rights under the warranty or under the mandatory statutory provisions of the country of purchase.
The Product should be installed in such a way that it can be removed without damaging any other fittings or fixtures; the Guarantor shall not cover the costs of repairing or replacing such fittings or fixtures. Any work required to provide unobstructed access to the Product (dismantling, removal of enclosures, panels, etc.) must be carried out by the Consumer, at the Consumer's own expense, before any warranty service begins.
OMNIRES declares that its products have been placed on the market and approved for general use in construction in accordance with the applicable legal requirements. The colour of Products from the same collection may vary slightly and appear in similar shades; this does not constitute a defect in the Product but results from the normal manufacturing process.

Reporting a Warranty Claim
Before submitting a claim, the Consumer is obliged to check that the defect has not been caused by improper transport or storage, or by installation, use, maintenance or care that does not comply with the Instructions.
Any defects in the Product arising during the warranty period should be reported by the Consumer in writing to the retailer from whom the Product was purchased.
The Consumer is obliged to report any defects in the Product without delay once they become apparent. To streamline the claims procedure, it is recommended that the claim be submitted as soon as possible, and no later than 7 days from the date on which the defect was discovered; however, failure to meet this deadline does not result in the loss of rights under the warranty.
The claim should include the Consumer's contact details, the place where the Product is installed, a detailed description of the defect and the circumstances in which it was discovered, and, where the situation requires, photographic documentation. The claim must be accompanied by a document confirming the purchase of the Product (e.g. a receipt, an invoice, etc.). Unless expressly agreed otherwise with the Guarantor, when submitting a claim the Consumer should not send the defective Product back to the Guarantor or remove it themselves.
Warranty Services
The Guarantor will process the claim within 14 days of receiving it. If the claim is accepted, the Consumer has the right to choose between repair and replacement, unless the chosen remedy is impossible or would involve disproportionate costs for the Guarantor; in such a case, the Guarantor may, at its discretion: (1) repair the defective Product, (2) replace it, or (3) agree to a refund of the Product's purchase price by the retailer who sold the defective Product to the Consumer.
The warranty claim shall lapse if a repair has been carried out by persons who are not authorised service technicians of the Guarantor, or if parts from another manufacturer have been used.
If, in fulfilling its obligations, the Guarantor has supplied the Consumer with a defect-free Product in place of the defective one, or has carried out significant repairs to a Product covered by the warranty, the warranty period starts again from the moment the defect-free Product is delivered or the repaired Product is returned. Where an individual part of the Product is replaced, the warranty period starts again only in respect of the replaced part.
Conditions and Exclusions
The Guarantor's liability under the warranty is excluded in the case of:
- Natural wear and tear of consumable parts subject to periodic replacement in the normal course of use, in particular aerators, silicone nozzles, filters, non-return valves, seals, shower enclosure rollers and running gear, toilet brush heads, dispenser pumps and replaceable filter cartridges.
- Damage caused by the precipitation of sediment and contaminants from the water being used or from the mains water system.
- Mechanical damage to the Product caused by the user of the Product or by third parties (scratches, soiling, dents, etc.).
- Damage to the surfaces and finishes of the Product resulting from improper care that does not comply with the rules set out in the Installation and Maintenance Instructions (in particular resulting from the use of unsuitable cleaning products, such as abrasive sponges and scouring agents, cleaning agents containing solvents or acids – such as limescale removers, acetic acid and household vinegar – as well as other products not intended for the care of the product group to which the Product belongs, e.g. strong alkalis and detergents).
- Defects in the Product resulting from use, maintenance and care of the Product that do not comply with the rules set out in the Instructions.
- Defects resulting from installation that does not comply with the Instructions and good building practice or with the intended use of the Product, as well as defects resulting from installation carried out using equipment or materials that do not comply with the Instructions.
- Tampering with the Product (repairs, modifications) by persons who are not authorised service technicians of the Guarantor, or the use of non-original spare parts.
- Damage to the Product occurring after its release from the Guarantor's warehouse, in particular during transport, handling or improper storage, which does not result from causes inherent in the Product at the time of its delivery to the Consumer. This applies in particular to damage occurring during transport between intermediaries in the sales chain or to the Consumer.
- Defects resulting from inadequate protection of the Product while construction work is being carried out by the Consumer (in particular as a result of using unsuitable protective materials, or damage to finishes caused by contamination with mortar, plaster, paint, silicone, etc.).
- Negligible defects, i.e. those which, once the Product has been correctly installed, remain invisible or have no effect on its functionality, safety or practical value. This applies in particular to characteristics resulting from the manufacturing process, such as air bubbles, hairline marks, incomplete fills, minor discolouration, small material losses or surface irregularities occurring on parts of the Product that are not visible after installation (e.g. the underside of basins, components concealed behind panelling). Minor deviations of the Product from the required characteristics which do not affect the Product's practical value (e.g. in the case of ceramic products). This applies in particular to differences resulting from the manufacturing process and the technologies used, such as minor dimensional differences within manufacturing tolerances, variations in shade within the same collection, subtle differences in texture or sheen, and the natural characteristics of materials (e.g. ceramics, stone, coloured finishes).
- Defects resulting from temperatures falling below 0 degrees Celsius in the room in which the Product is installed, or from installation of the Product outside any building.
- Defects resulting from force majeure events and natural disasters.
- Purchase of the Product:
- of sub-standard quality;
- as a display model;
- at a reduced price, i.e. a Product with defects for which the price was reduced, of which the Consumer was aware and to which the Consumer agreed.
