HEDONISTIC MANNERISM

Restrained minimalism gives way to a rich interplay of forms, textures, and bold pattern combinations. Imaginative details awaken the senses and invite the discovery of new layers of pleasure. In designer Kristina Busko’s artistic vision, decoration takes center stage – inviting touch, evoking awe, and sparking curiosity. The composition guides the eye from one detail to the next like a theatrical stage, radiating refined extravagance and encouraging a hedonistic celebration of life, immersing the visitor in a multi-dimensional, sensory experience.

Hedonistic Mannerism is the embodiment of aesthetic abundance – a celebration of form, colour, and sensuality, inviting experimentation and fearless creativity. This expressive style finds its ideal counterpart in the OVO M+ collection’s new geometric designs, which marry functionality with artistic expression. The round corner bath’s integrated shelf introduces visual harmony, while the matte Coral finish completes the setting, reinforcing its sensual, daring, and contemporary character.

A palette of soft pinks and reds unifies the interior in the spirit of Hedonistic Mannerism. Its character is revealed in the textures of aged walls and noble marbles – Rojo Alicante, with its deep red and white veining that whispers tales of southern Spain, and Calacatta Rose, whose painterly veins sweep across the stone like brushstrokes on canvas. This palette, combined with the geometry and colours of OVO M+ basins, inspired the entire composition and anchors the interior in a place dear to Kristina Busko: the province of Alicante in eastern Spain.

I want my interiors to inspire – to be spaces that energize you every day. Even amidst the routines of life, the home should motivate, rejuvenate, and invite discovery. Minimalism does not inspire me; I am drawn to the richness of textures, fabrics, and details.

The interior exudes warmth and intimacy. A striking Murano chandelier celebrates Venetian craftsmanship and glass artistry; aged mirrors recall the sophistication of Parisian Art Deco, while the richly decorated stuccowork leading to the shower references Middle Eastern ornamentation. Curves and rounded contours guide the eye and invite touch, unfolding in a sensual choreography of forms – from the bold geometry of MODERN PROJECT accessories and UNI baskets to the fluid lines of the minimalist Y collection fittings in brushed brass.
