HOW TO MAINTAIN THE BATHROOM MIXERS?

The versatility of the OMNIRES bathroom fittings allows you to choose a mixer that perfectly emphasises the individual character of your interior. However, in order for your product to please you every day, you need to ensure not only proper installation, but also regular and correct maintenance - both external and internal.

EXTERNAL SURFACE MAINTENANCE

For daily maintenance of the external surface of the mixer, use a soft cloth and a solution of water with a mild cleaning agent, then rinse the product thoroughly with clean water and wipe it dry. Regular care of your mixers will help to avoid limescale build-up and a thicker layer of dirt.

If there has been more serious soiling, we recommend using a 10% citric acid solution and water. This solution should be applied to the product for 10 minutes (directly or cover the product with a cloth soaked in this solution). After that time, rinse thoroughly with clean water and wipe dry. If necessary, the process can be repeated.

For cleaning the mixers, we also recommend using agents of leading manufacturers according to the instructions indicated on the packaging. To protect the coating from scratches it is not recommended to use rough materials or caustic or any abrasive preparations.

INTERNAL MAINTENANCE

In the case of small contaminants in water or water of "hard" water, remove the aerator once every few weeks and clean it with a brush. If there is more severe soiling, we recommend soaking the aerator for 10 minutes in a 10% citric acid solution with water. For the thermostatic mixers to work properly, run the mixer once every two weeks, spanning the full temperature range - from very cold water to maximum hot water. Repeat the operation several times.
